Physicist, Writer, Analyst
Dr Loudiana spent his 35-year career defending the American homeland and armed forces from missile attack. He received his PhD in Physics shortly after President Reagan’s famous Star Wars Speech. Since then, Mike has performed research and systems engineering on numerous missile defense systems, supporting U.S., U.K., and Israeli government organizations.
He has been awarded three patents, published dozens of peer-reviewed articles, and earned the title of Boeing Technical Fellow. Since Mike's retirement, he has pursued his passion for science and evangelism.
Mike was born in Spokane, WA. He studied Physics at Washington State University and started working for Boeing in Seattle shortly after receiving his PhD. Boeing provided Dr Loudiana with many opportunities, including technical leadership positions in one-of-a-kind high-tech programs such as the Airborne Surveillance Testbed and the Airborne Laser Testbed. In 2012, Boeing sent him to join the Missile Defense National Team in Huntsville, AL.
Mike met Phyllis shortly after moving to Huntsville, and they got married in 2013. They are active members at Church of the Highlands and have led dozens of small groups. Mike has 5 children and 8 grandchildren.
Dr Loudiana retired from Boeing in 2020, and Phyllis retired from her nursing career shortly after that. They enjoy traveling, exploring local natural wonders, and leading church small groups.
